iPad App 'Blogsy'

I'm testing this iPad App called 'Blogsy', where I can create my blog post on my iPad. To post my picture from photobucket, I emailed the picture's web address to my iPad (but you could probably find it from the iPad itself too), then I pasted the website address into Blogsy's inbuilt browser. Once the photo uploaded, I just dragged it into the body of my new blog ( you need to log in your blog's username and password under settings prior to this and click '+' to create a new blog). When the picture has gone in, swipe the page and you will be able to view its html code. Type your text on the same page. I prefer typing with a keyboard, but sometimes you might have just your iPad with you.
Also drag and drop images from Flickr,Picasa and Google Image Search or videos from Youtube. Also works with WordPress blogs. If you put your blog in an iFrame in your Ultranet Space, that would be fantastic!
More information about this app can be found here: http://i848.photobucket.com/albums/ab46/iultranet/Templates/puplebackground.png
Have fun!

PS. After checking my blog post on the computer, I realized that the photo was too big. This was not shown in the 'Blogsy' app.... and the twitter posts can't be seen (flash?) ... just be aware of this and adjust your photo sizes in the html code accordingly.

Animations and photos

If you want another animation to spice up your Ultranet space, try this link: Gickr

You can create an animation from up to 10 photos. This one I made of the cute Polar Bear at Sea World used 4 photos.

If you want nice photos for your Ultranet Space but don't want to infringe copyright rules, there are some tips on this website: http://captivatingclassroom.globalteacher.org.au/

I was playing around with some types of scrolling text but they could not display on the Ultranet. If you have any other purpose for them, the link is below.

CSS Code

I found the twitters on the ultranet pretty useful. Found this CSS generator website that will generate a template for your community space. http://smsn.vic.edu.au/ultranetcss/ . Check out the one I did for my space:

Do you like this cool background I generated? I created it with the Line Art application on the iPad, took a screen shot of it, and emailed it to my computer. I flipped it on my computer to landscape format, and uploaded it to http://tinypic.com
I copied the 'Direct link for layouts' code, and pasted it into the background image url box of the CSS generator, then I chose text colours that complemented my background image. It took me half a day to figure all this out but it's worth it!

Ultranet Updates

Tried to put in the twitter code into Publication Display, but it did not work. Ended up creating this blogger page to display it. Maybe, if you want higher definition photos to be displayed in your Ultranet Space, or other widgets that don't work on the ultranet, you can do the same thing I did, and display it on iFrames instead.
